AUDITIONS - APRIL 14 & 15 

 

WHAT IS SHOWTUNE SHOWDOWN?

A fun "Dinner Show" opportunity for our girls to experience the "audition" and perform their number for parents and peers.

 

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

Any girl in any of our choirs, either as a solo or ensemble with friends or family

 

WHAT IS THE AUDITION LIKE?

Auditions are next Monday and Tuesday ONE HOUR PRIOR TO the regularly scheduled rehearsal. Girls who try out will experience the audition process by performing a song of her choosing for her teacher during regular rehearsal day. She will receive immediate constructive feedback and the results will be made available following all auditions.

 

WHAT MUSIC WILL THEY NEED FOR THE AUDITION?

This year's show theme is "Summer" so those who audition must choose a song that has to do with summer... it can be anything at all as long as it follows the theme.

 

HOW CREATIVE CAN THEY BE?

We strongly encourage creativity! They may sing a solo or ensemble with friends and/or family, they can wear costumes, do a fun introduction, and even use instruments.

 

HOW DO WE SIGN HER UP?

Just let her teacher know that she will be trying out... but do so quickly as auditions are NEXT WEEK!

 

WHEN IS THE DINNER SHOW?

May 2, 2025. Details to come!

 

CAN WE ALL COME WATCH THE SHOW?

YES! Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for kids 12 and under.

¿QUÉ ES SHOWTUNE SHOWDOWN?

Una divertida oportunidad de "Dinner Show" para que nuestras niñas experimenten la "audición" y realicen su número para padres y compañeros.

 

¿QUIÉN PUEDE PARTICIPAR?

Cualquier chica en cualquiera de nuestros coros, ya sea como solista o en conjunto con amigos o familiares

 

¿CÓMO ES LA AUDICIÓN?

Las audiciones son el próximo lunes y martes UNA HORA ANTES del ensayo programado regularmente. Las chicas que hagan la prueba experimentarán el proceso de audición interpretando una canción de su elección para su maestra durante el día de ensayo regular. Recibirá comentarios constructivos inmediatos y los resultados estarán disponibles después de todas las audiciones.

 

¿QUÉ MÚSICA NECESITARÁN PARA LA AUDICIÓN?

El tema del espectáculo de este año es "Verano", por lo que aquellos que audicionen deben elegir una canción que tenga que ver con el verano... Puede ser cualquier cosa, siempre y cuando siga el tema.

 

 ¿QUÉ TAN CREATIVOS PUEDEN SER?

 ¡Fomentamos encarecidamente la creatividad! Pueden cantar un   solo o un conjunto con amigos y/o familiares, pueden usar disfraces, hacer una presentación divertida e incluso usar instrumentos.

 

 ¿CÓMO LA INSCRIBIMOS?

Solo hazle saber a su maestra que va a hacer la prueba... pero hazlo rápido ya que las audiciones son ¡LA PRÓXIMA SEMANA!
